Set up Project Management for Multi-Location Team/ Plant/ Departments/ Sub-organization

This feature is particularly very useful for Zilicus customers who have been operating from different locations i.e. their teams have been dispersed across multiple countries, multiple continents e.g. one of our customers is headquartered in Germany however has manufacturing plants & marketing teams spread across Italy, Poland, United States and China. He will be able to use this features to configure distinct sub-organization for each location and associate employees from each location to respective sub-organization.

It should be noted that sub-organization not restricted to location, you can use sub-organization to set up multiple departments like Marketing, Operations, PMO, HR, etc.

Customers can now set up multiple sub-organizations and associate a manager for that sub-organization. Going forward, we will be providing more intelligence: reports and dashboard for specific organization(s) and you will be able to find employee utilization, employee cost, employee billing for each sub-organization, department.

Customers have project manager based out of one country and rest of the team is operating from different countries. Each country has its own working calendar meaning – different holidays, working weekdays, number of working hours, etc. This feature will allow customers to set up multiple calendars and specify

Associate calendar to a given organization and in turn to a given project

Once your calendar is configured, you can associate that calendar to a given sub-organization/department.

When projects are created, they can be associated to a given organization (default to project owner’s organization) and if project manager changes, he can change project’s calendar by changing organization associated with its project.

Simplified Chinese Interface

In order to make it easier for our customers located in China to use ZilicusPM in their local language, we have introduced ZilicusPM in Simplified Chinese interface.

Reopen Approved Project Expenses

Reopen Approved Project Expense Sheet in ZilicusPM project management software

This is enhancement allowing team members to reopen already approved project expenses sheets so that they can add new, delete/update existing expense items in same sheet and submit it again for approval. Earlier ZilicusPM allowed users to reopen rejected/submitted expense sheets.

Every data record is instantly backed up to backup DB server

Using a new replication mechanism, Zilicus is now backing up customer project data on replica DB server such that the moment you add a new project, task, issue or perform/update any change therein, it will be replicated instantaneously (in a matter of milliseconds) to replica DB server. Earlier a regular backup of the customer project data used to be taken automatically at regular interval, but this enhancement is one more important step in making ZilicusPM even more reliable and dependable project management software.
