My Pending Tasks

Navigate Home> My Home >My Work >Pending Tasks





The logged-in user can clearly see details of the tasks assigned to it. A user can scroll through the list of tasks assigned to him and due on his name

The left side section in above box shows details like name of tasks, project it belongs to, planned start date, actual start date if task status is In-Progress (with an option to edit), percentage completion of the task (with an option to edit).

The right side section shows planned due date for task, its status and a button to update the task status.

Note: The notification for tasks assignment and when task due date is passed, can be received through email also. The ZilicusPM account administrator needs to right preferences corresponding to task emails.


Update tasks

Navigate Home> My Home > My Work > Pending Tasks

Team member can update task status and progress, right on the home page, without having to visit the Gantt chart or figure out tasks assigned to him through reports and then update it somewhere else.

As team member changes status, he/she would be asked to enter actual start date/end date depending on status.Updating status reflects into the real-time progress made for project



Team member can also modify/update actual start date once the task is in ‘In Progress’ state;




Similarly the percentage completion of the task can also be updated by moving the progress indicator/bar on the same page as shown below.

Note: This page shows pending tasks assigned to a user from all projects. Users can click on task name. It is a link that navigates user to project workspace wherein the respective page will show tasks in the context of project.



Enter Timesheet on ZilicusPM Home Page

To make it even simpler for team members to update timesheet entries while updating task status (and progress) on home page, we have introduced an enhancement. As you can view, one can navigate to the desired week, enter timesheet entries and save it for submission later.

Enter Timesheet Comments at Home Page

Now user can add timesheet entries as well as comment against that timesheet entry at home page itself. A user can view list of pending tasks assigned to it, in order to enter timesheet entr against it, he/she can click on ‘Log Time’ link available for that task, and following screenshot illustrate how one can do that.

Similar to entering timesheet details, one can know the work-allocation for an assigned task by clicking on the buttons shown below. So for team members, it is mostly home page that they need to refer to update task, issues, risks, action items from meetings, task comments, and discussion board. It has been super simplified for team members to use ZilicusPM.
